Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, which means day drinking is now socially acceptable (Just kidding. It's always acceptable.) It’s going to be hot, and you’re going to be thirsty, so we pulled some of our favorite refreshing drink recipes from our cocktail archive. Roasted Margarita

Here’s a toasty take on all-time classic. The foundation of the margarita itself is simple, but a touch of mezcal and a dusting of chipotle salt takes this drink to the next level. It’s a nice break from the neon-green slushies we’re used to seeing. Some advice from Tippling Bros. co-founder Tad Carducci: make your drink from the bottom up, using the cheapest ingredients first. That way if you mess up midway through, you’re not wasting any precious tequila.
